Bike Club
Alexandra is one of the UK’s leading circular economy entrepreneurs. She has been named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list for Retail and E-Commerce, as one the Top 100 Women in Cycling by Cycling UK, a Top 50 Female Founders to Watch by Beauhurst and a Female Leader and Game-Changer by Women in FinTech.
After leaving school prematurely at the age of 17, Alexandra embarked on a brief career in technology before founding Bike Club in 2016. Bike Club was born out of a love for cycling and an over-arching belief that the traditional model of ownership needed revolutionising. With over 38 million unused bikes in the UK alone, something needed to change.
Through Bike Club over 140,000 parents throughout the UK and Germany now pay monthly for their childrens bikes. When the child grows out of it, they simply exchange for the next size up. Bike Club is an accredited B-Corp and has been named a Top 200 Female Powered Businesses and Top 10 Female Powered Companies by Growth in Valuation (2021).
She's passionate about inclusivity and dreams of a world where everyone has equal opportunity; no matter their background, gender or ethnicity.
