Brian Allen is the co-founder and CEO of Beam, a British scale-up that specialises in robotics, AI, computer vision and SLAM technology for the offshore renewables sector. Beam is expecting £40m revenues in 2024.

Under Brian’s leadership, Beam is transforming the economics of offshore wind and, accelerating the world’s transition to renewable energy sources in key European, US and Asian markets.

Founded in 2016, the company has 145 employees across its offices in Bristol, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and New York. It is back by investment from Equinor, Legal & General Capital and In-Q-Tel.
