Edward Stanley leads Thematic Research at Morgan Stanley and covers the Venture Capital and the start-up ecosystem. His database of over 35,000 venture capital deals is updated weekly, and covers topical themes with a data-driven approach, enhanced by differentiated market access and a narrative style that emphasises cutting through the noise of complex market developments. Edward ran the European Business Services sector at Morgan Stanley between 2018-2021 and covered the sector for 5 years prior to that. He graduated from Cass Business School with an MSc in Investment Management and from UCL in 2012, and has passed all three levels of the CFA program.
