As founder and experienced investment professional, Jörg has in-depth market knowledge and a close-knit network in the venture capital community. Previous stations of his career include Metzler, The Boston Consulting Group, BNP Paribas, Cerberus, and Blackstone. Jörg holds a PhD in finance and diploma in electrical engineering and economics. Together with Alexander Thees, he set-up and manages KfW Capital as Co-CEO. KfW Capital invests in European VC funds with support of the German federal government. The aim is to sustainably strengthen the VC fund landscape in Germany and to develop the ecosystem in terms of for example ESG and diversity.
