Katya is the Head of the Climate Brick, an initiative set up by EQT Ventures and Contrarian Ventures to accelerate the deployment of climate technologies. Previously she was CFO of ZeroAvia, a pioneering sustainable aviation scale-up, raising >$250m in Series A-C and building the company from 10 to 300 people. She joined ZeroAvia from SYSTEMIQ, where she ran the early-stage VC arm, overseeing the first six investments, including ZeroAvia. She started her career in M&A at Lazard and Deutsche Bank, and private equity at a $2bn Sovereign Wealth Fund. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and BA/MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford.
