Marcia Kilgore is a Canadian-born entrepreneur who has founded a string of game-changing global companies in the worlds of beauty and wellness. She is recognized globally as an industry leader, a business visionary, a beauty expert and an inspiration for female-entrepreneurs everywhere.

She is an engaging and authoritative speaker, panelist and podcast interviewee, often speaking on female entrepreneurship, modern business ethics, the need for radical transparency in retail and the role of beauty in modern life.

Time Magazine chose 29-year-old Kilgore as their cover star, pegging her as one of the new generation of entrepreneurs – whose hard work, ingenuity and fearlessness trumped the networking, business school bigshots. And when, in May 2011, Oprah Winfrey’s final show aired,Oprah referred to her former facialist - Kilgore - as one of the most inspiring people she’d ever met.

Her industry-leading ventures have included Bliss, which revolutionized the spa industry and sold to LVMH just three years after its launch; the upbeat, tongue-in-cheek Soap & Glory, which was acquired by drugstore giant Walgreens Boots Alliance in 2014 the biomechanics-meets-fashion-footwear brand FitFlop; and the naturally-derived bath and body brand Soaper Duper.

In October 2016, Kilgore launched her most revolutionary brand yet: Beauty Pie. A totally new kind of beauty company aimed at democratizing the luxury beauty industry by highlighting - and disrupting - its existing, outdated business model.

Beauty Pie sells luxury beauty products without the luxury beauty prices. Working alongside the world’s best beauty labs (Kilgore has collaborated with them for the last 25 years), the company creates premium products and sells them direct to consumers, cutting out all the middlemen, retailer/e-tailer markups, fancy department store counters and glitzy, over-the-top packaging. Members of Beauty Pie can then buy these high-performance products at up to 75% off typical prices - a fraction of what you’d pay at retail.
