Marie Asano is currently Partner at the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund. At ECBF Marie is the lead contact for food tech investments. Previously she was a Senior Investment Manager at High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), a German-based seed fund. At HTGF she built a track record investing in companies active in the areas of 3D printing, nutrition, biotech/pharma, hardware and animal health. Before beginning her professional career, Marie completed her PhD in Chemistry at the universities of Liège and Bordeaux, after which she then obtained an MBA at the Collège des Ingénieurs.
