Niamh Donnelly is a co-founder of Akara, a robotics and AI healthcare company, and holds degrees in Engineering and a Masters in AI and Machine learning. She has previously held lead engineering roles in both startups and larger tech corporations. She has won national awards for her AI research, recognised in the global media for her work and was awarded the prestigious EU Innovators Prize by the European Commission. At Akara, Niamh oversees the development of AI and machine learning. She played a key role in the development and validation of the 'Stevie' robot, which previously featured on the cover of Time magazine.
