Simon Phelan is the founder and CEO of Hometree, a fast-growing residential energy services company that helps homeowners install, finance, repair and maintain critical home energy systems. Born in Ireland, Simon started his career in private equity where he became fascinated by the business opportunity of decarbonising homes which led him to found Hometree in 2015. 

Hometree looks after over 100,000 homes across the UK, has a team of 250, and has raised over £75m of equity from leading Institutional investors and almost £300m of debt from institutional investors including Barclays to fund residential renewable upgrades.
