Terese Hougaard is a Partner at the venture capital firm Atomico, investing in gamechanging technology companies. Terese is part of Atomico's early stage investment team, where she leads the fund's investments into the climate space, and has spent her time focusing primarily on B2B opportunities also across fintech, data and crypto. She currently sits on the boards of Vaayu, Abacum and Aplo, and played a vital role in Atomico’s investments in Y42 and Qatalog.

Terese joined Atomico after five years at Alphabet’s investment fund CapitalG, based in San Francisco. There, she invested in or worked with companies like Stripe, Robinhood, Gusto, and UiPath, and worked on the fund’s India investments and strategy. Prior to that, she spent time in Google’s SMB marketing team and held roles in strategy consulting and e-commerce business development at American Express.
