Zeynep Yavuz is a partner at General Catalyst, a venture capital firm that partners with founders from seed through growth stages and beyond to build companies that withstand the test of time. At GC, Zeynep focuses on global investments across multiple sectors including fintech. She is based in London.  Prior to joining GC, Zeynep led new product partnerships at the global cross border payments company WorldRemit. Zeynep started her investing career at TA Associates, a global growth equity fund, where her focus was investing in financial technology companies in Europe. Prior to joining TA, Zeynep was in the technology investment banking group of Bank of America Merill Lynch in New York.  Zeynep graduated from the University of Chicago with a BA in Economics and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
