Andrea is a commercial strategist, entrepreneur, advisor and investor with global expertise in emerging technology, innovation, investment strategy and strategic growth initiatives. She’s built and grown four businesses in the technology space, across various sectors in both hardware and software.

Andrea runs Hive Founders, a mission-driven network for women and non-binary founders, helping 4600+ female founders across the globe launch, fund and scale their businesses more successfully. She also runs Womankind Ventures, a dynamic and inclusive global angel investment group with a mission to get more funding to female and non-binary founders. Additionally, Andrea teaches Entrepreneurial Finance at the Bates Center for Entrepreneurship & Leadership, Lewis & Clark College.

Before her entrepreneurial career, Andrea was Director of Strategic Initiatives Europe at Avanade, a joint venture between Accenture & Microsoft where she focused on growth and optimization projects including M&A. She also consulted for other technology brands including Microsoft in the US, South America and Europe.

Andrea has been featured in press publications such as TechCrunch, The Financial Times, Forbes, Medium and Thrive Global as well as in the books The MBA Entrepreneur and The Start-Up Mum. She is passionate about commercial strategy, technology, entrepreneurship, increasing the number of women represented across these industries, from entry-level to board-level. Andrea has spoken at numerous conferences on technology, the mobile industry, entrepreneurship, raising start-up finance, investing, being a female founder and women in technology.

Andrea holds a Bachelor's Degree from Reed College in Portland, OR, US and an Executive MBA from London Business School.
