General Partner, HV Capital
Barbod is a General Partner at HV Capital, where he covers investments in the fintech, insurtech, and B2B SaaS sectors. He has led HV’s early investments in BUX, Penta, Yapily, and Solarisbank, among others. Prior to HV, he held investment roles in public markets and private equity, and was instrumental in expanding Rocket Internet’s portfolio as VP Investment Management. He started programming and designing websites as a teenager, later earning a Master’s in Software Engineering from Imperial and an MBA from Columbia. Having lived in Italy, Germany, the UK, and the U.S., Barbod brings a global perspective and curiosity for technology.
