Born in Argentina and having called the UK home for the past 16 years, Florencia Schiavon is currently CEO of Sifted, the leading intelligence and media platform covering Europe’s technology ecosystem.
Florencia leads Sifted through a transformative period for both the media industry and the startup ecosystem, with a focus on building a sustainable, subscription-led business while ensuring Sifted continues to deliver trusted journalism and market intelligence for Europe’s founders, investors and innovators.
Before joining Sifted, Florencia built her career scaling high-growth SaaS and media businesses, holding senior commercial leadership roles at companies including CommerceIQ, Wayvia, Ascential. Alongside her role at Sifted, she is also the co-founder of Unfazed, a curated network supporting ambitious women leaders and operators.
She is passionate about building businesses that people genuinely value, developing high-performing teams and helping Europe’s technology ecosystem thrive.
