Mathilda Strom is the Founding Chief Operating Officer of Bioptimus, an AI company building the first universal foundation model for biology. With nearly 20 years of experience, she has led high-impact ventures at the crossroads of tech and global health. Previously, she was Chief Commercial Officer at CarbonPool and co-founded BIMA, active in 23 countries. She’s built partnerships with Vodafone, Allianz, and Orange, and held board roles at Microinsurance Network, Tangelo, and Azuri Technologies. Named one of Sweden’s top future women leaders, she combines operational excellence with visionary leadership in AI-driven biomedical innovation.
