With over 15 years’ experience in payments and fintech, Richard has held senior leadership roles at some of the industry’s most innovative companies.Before joining Marqeta, Richard was VP of Global Partnerships at Volt.io, where he built and scaled the company’s go-to-market partnership strategy, helping establish Volt as a leading force in open banking payments. Prior to that, he led commercial growth at ACI Worldwide and spent over eight years at Barclaycard, where he drove account development across corporate and key client segments.Richard’s career has been defined by building high-performing teams, creating strategic partnerships, and driving adoption of next-generation payment solutions. He is passionate about the future of financial services, particularly the role of embedded payments and fraud prevention in shaping a more connected, customer-centric economy.
