Rubina Singh

Rubina is an Investment Director at Foresight Group, a FTSE 250 investment manager with £13bn in AUM, where she leads early-stage deeptech investments and serves on the boards of companies from Seed through Series C+. She brings 15 years of experience spanning engineering, technology development, commercialisation, global go-to-market and investing.

Previously, she was a Principal at Octopus Ventures, where she led deeptech investments and founded the Springboard accelerator. Rubina began her career as an engineer at Bosch and Fraunhofer, working with deeptech startups including MIT spinouts, before moving into technology commercialisation and global product scaling at Centrica. She later led the innovation division at British Gas.

She holds a Bachelor in Engineering degree from the Australian National University, Master in Engineering from University of Michigan and studied entrepreneurship at Stanford University.
